      Rule of thumb is, if your getting your quoted speed your ok. Most get more. If it's way below, you've got a problem. Give them a bell and hopefully you should get it sorted.

      as its more than 25% they should arrange a visit. Are you able to hack into the modem for line stats?

      No i have the ECI modem, dont fancy taken it apart to hack it,

      DownStream Connection Speed 22400 kbps
      UpStream Connection Speed 7580 kbps

      Did you contact sky about the low d/l speed?

      I've checked mine today. I'm actually getting more upload speed now at just short of 9000kbps.

      Download is still at 30000 though. I think I may leave mine for a couple of weeks then reboot the router.

      No, at the time i was going to ring them, i rebooted the router and speed had gone up slighlty to 28000/7400 so thought i would leave it, just rebooted router now and its changed again :/

      DownStream Connection Speed 24188 kbps
      UpStream Connection Speed 7928 kbps



      download still abit low but upload ok, will leave for a while longer and keep an eye on it, picked up a different modem so will have a look at hacking the firmware to see line stats before i ring.
