      Fibre optic keeps losing connection

      Hi I received fibre optic today and come home from work to find out that when I try a website I just getthe sky page with the message "the router has failed to detect a broadband connection" it works then maybe every ten mins this comes back up again can someone help??
      When I check the connection it's says I'm recieding 54.00

      I would be inclined to give Sky a call either this evening or first thing tomorrow.

      I assume that you have followed the instructions in the book supplied with the new Sky router and have connected it correctly to the BTO Modem with an Ethernet cable.

      I also assume that the BTO Modem hasn't been switched off and the green LEDs are on.

      Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
      Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms
