Still waiting for router?
Due to have Sky Fibre installed next Tues (4th) and no sign of a router yet :-(
MySky says:
1) Broadband Get Set / Instructions Pack = Delivered
2) Below you can track your order for Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro = Order accepted
3) Below you can track your order for Sky Wireless N Router (Fibre) = Your order is being prepared for delivery.
4) Below you can track your order for Sky Talk Line Rental and Sky Talk Freetime = Sorry there has been a delay
Does this seem pretty normal at this stage to others?BT Infinity 2 FTTC (19/09/2012) - 46 Mbps / 8 Mbps - (Sky Fibre was unavailable)Windows, OS X, CentOS, VMware, HyperV and a bit of TCP/IP !

Re: Still waiting for router?
I had sky fibre pro installed on the Monday before last, the 20th.
I was on tenterhooks with no modem but, surprisingly, Parcel Force delivered it at 7.30am Saturday 18th.
I didn't think Parcel Force delivered on a Saturday.
Anyway I shouldn't worry, going on my experience you still have plenty of time to get your modem.

Re: Still waiting for router?
I suspect its because its bundled in with the broadband, and not being activated in advance. Since they wouldn't actually need to attend my home they could have switched that over by now, but its all happening on the 4th.
When I phoned last week to give them the MAC the person on the fibre team checked and said they don't normally need the MAC, but its good to have it on the account just in case - and said there were no problems everything was looking good. So I'm assuming its a web system problem

Re: Still waiting for router?
@rederick - You may get the new router

@iZucchini - obviously you are getting the old one.

Re: Still waiting for router?
Am I correct in thinking that on the day of install, the BT engineer installs the modem but doesn't setup the router?
Assuming it has arrived.
I assume the router is self install?
