    Slow throught/High Ping

      Slow throught/High Ping

      Hi All ,

      I appear to be getting slow throughput and High Pings - i havn't rebooted the router yet (is it worth a go ?), See below

      Router Stats

      DownStream Connection Speed 29359 kbps
      UpStream Connection Speed 6107 kbps


      Broadband Speed Test Result - 9.35 Mbps (down); 4.93 Mbps (up)

      Namesco BroadbandMax Bandwidth speedtest | Test your ADSL connection speed

      Test taken a few minutes ago (Havn't unplugged Router Yet)

      Decided to reboot the router , Sync below



      DownStream Connection SpeedUpStream Connection Speed
      27051 kbps
      6038 kbps



      Speed Tests

      Broadband Speed Test Result - 18.92 Mbps (down); 4.94 Mbps (up) (ThinkBroadband)




      Anyone else getting the same?

      Have you rang Sky?

      They maybe able to spot something at their end?

      Im going to leave it til the morning - if there has been no improvement I will ring them.

      Do you have the number for the Sky Fibre team?? If possible can you please PM it to me please?

      My throughput is fine tonight speed wise but I am suffering a lot of lag/unresponsiveness.

      spitfire see your PM's and its best to ring the fibre team between monday to friday.

      I managed to find the number late last night - I forgot to update the thread to say id found it

      Ive just phoned them - they won't do anything til DLM has been completed - It takes 10 Days for DLM to do its stuff
