40/10 package on sky?
Does anyone know if its possible to negotiate with Sky to get the 40/10 package for a couple of £ extra from the sky fibre unlimited package as I don't want 2Mbps upload
My current line can not handle speeds over 40Mbps so its no point of getting fibre pro for £30

You could try, but sadly Sky are not currently offering a 40/10 package in their product range.
I hope that they will change their minds in the future but nothing at the moment.

Re: 40/10 package on sky?
You would be as well going for BT Infinity apart from being limited to 40Gb with a £1 a Gb excess charge, it is a bit cheaper than Sky and has a 20Mb upload. If you don't hammer your connection it is the best buy. Even the 'Pro' version is cheaper than Sky with an Unlimited allowance. At the moment the biggest difference is Sky do not throttle P2P at peak times, BT does. I think this will change fairly soon and Sky will start throttling P2P at peak to protect other users.

Re: 40/10 package on sky?
I already have BT infinity, The bill payer is cutting off the service as they never use the phone and BT wont let me take over the account since the account holder has not died.
I was just wanting to see if Sky could offer the 40/10 service as I would prefer to have TV, phone and broadband under one bill. I will send them an email to see if its possible

Sky would have to buy a different wholesale variant from openreach. Bluntly, they ain't going to do that just for you no matter how nicely you email them
