Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro Help.
First of all hi to everyone, new to this site.
Right ive had Fibre Unlimited for about a month now but i have seen that Fibre Unlimited Pro is available, so i gave Sky a ring only to be told it is not in my area yet, the lady i spoke to wouldnt put me thorugh to the fibre team instead asked the questions for me.
Is it true that Fibre Unlimited is in my area but not pro or was she just fobbing me off, i might be wrong but am i right in thinking that if i have already got the fibre then i should be able to have the fibre pro?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks All
Matt

Re: Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro Help.
Use the BT Infinity checker to see what your estimated speed would be. If they can show a connection faster than 40mb down and quicker than 10mb up, then I would suggest that you have been given a porky.
BT Infinity – super fast broadband with a fibre optic internet connection
If this is the case, call Sky again and hopefully you will get someone who can sell you SFUP.

Re: Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro Help. Ive just done a check and it says i can get BT Infinity 32mb, so they must be telling the truth, it wouldnt be so bad if the upload wasnt capped to 2mb

Re: Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro Help.
Sorry about that. Obviously at the moment you cannot get a connection speed above 40mb.

I can't recall how far you are away from your FTTC cabinet as the connection speed will drop the further you are away from it. Could I suggest that you a few different addresses on your exchange? Preferably try some that are close to their respective cabinets.
If everyone is stuck with speeds below 40mb, then it is an Exchange issue. I would hope that if this is the case then BTO will be upgrading things in due course.
