How accurate is IP_Tracer?
When I check my IP address today on IP_Tracer (IP Address | IP Address Tracer | IP-Adress.com) it says Eastleigh, Hampshire.
Another IP address locator says Northwich, Cheshire today - a few days ago it said Covent Garden, London.
My IP address has remained unchanged since upgrading to SFU. The Hostname of my IP address has also remained the same.
When I first got SFU, Google said my location was somewhere in Surrey!
So, I was just wondering about the accuracy of services and how is the info obtained?

Re: How accurate is IP_Tracer?
Not very accurate then by the look of it!
Although I'm sure (when I was on ADSL) I recall seeing something in someone's signature on some forum that showed the viewer's IP address and location - it was always accurate and told me where I was (which I already knew, well most of the time...)

Re: How accurate is IP_Tracer?
Different services give different towns for me. Unfortunately none of the are even in the right country never mind town.
I've had 2 IP's since changing to Fibre. The first said I was in Scotland near the East Coast & my current one says Bracknell, England. I live in Northern Ireland.
I don't know how often different services update, but none of them ever get mine right or even close.
