      I'd like to thanks those who have helped me and and those who helped others

      I'd also like to give a BIG thanks to Scubbie for help me in Private message to get my home network sorted so i can achieve these speed in my bedroom on my main PC

      No problem.

      I would encourage people to post questions on the forum though. Should anyone be a little busy or on holiday, then PMs can go unanswered. It is also nice to let others join in too with their answers.

      ah, take along a laptop with you on holiday, so you can use a wireless place and answer the forum.

      just hacked my modem

      its actually quite easy. just change the modems ip address to something that is in range of the sky routers ip address and connect the modems LAN2 to any spare port on the sky router:

      ie. sky routers default is 192.168.0.1 therefore i changed the modem to 192.168.0.200

      Nice connection speed.

      From what others have suggested, it you were to change your Router's IP to say 192.168.1.254, you should then be able to access the BTO Modem by putting in the address 192.168.1.1 in to your browser.

      Remember to adjust the first and last allocated IP Addresses as 192.168.1.1 & 192.168.1.2 will be used on the BTO Modem.

      Edit: Ok, Andrew's method is possibly easier.

      whats funny is that before the hack the sky router was ok now after the hack there is a delay to connecting to it
