As Crakatoah says def improves ingame ping on xbox,But word of warning if cod fan beware constant host now and you get murdered with lag comp
if youre not happy days.
Ping bbc.co.uk 9ms
Is the lag comp really that bad now your hosting all the time on cod?. Another poster on another thread said his son plays cod on Xbox and hosts most of the matches, but he's kicking peoples butts at the moment. Interested to no because I get SBUF on Friday and was hoping to have a game or two on MW3.

Re: Fibre ping time improvements
Sadly for me yes, i would say 4 out of 5 games when host i have to quit getting murdered
If im not host its brilliant had a few games where only been killed couple of times(other side of lag comp)
Likes to put me in games from players in eastern europe then next game im hosting
so have to leave.
Could be different for you could get lucky,I have had a few games as host which have been spot on so you never know.
p.s b4 dlc to none elite members it was great no bendy, rubber bullets or invisible players so may change with next update(fingers crossed).

Re: Fibre ping time improvements
So in essence it's business as usual on the cod front then, just pot luck your going to get a fair game online.
I think the good thing about fttc is because even with interleaving at its max, you will still get very good latency and as time goes on and everyone gets this service, the creators of the game just maybe forced to going back to their old setup.
Putting that aside, its 1 or 2 games in a whole load of them which it effects so not the end of the world.

Re: Fibre ping time improvements
can remember what my pings were before SBUF but now they are between 12-16ms depending on where I ping (bbc.co.uk or google.com). but having SBUF has not improved my COD experience (what very little I play of it, I prefer Battlefield 3). I was bad before, I am still bad now
