Unfortunately you cant just place an order for Sky Fiber untill it is officially launched mid April, however if you register your details on the Sky Fiber Trial page 'HERE' then you may be lucky enough to be contacted and asked to join the fiber trial, if as you say, your exchange is enabled AND the local PCP cab your line connects to has had a fiber cab installed next/near to it and is all wired up and working.

I was in a similar position and sure enough they did call back and I now have an installation date.

If you have been called, try calling the number that was used. Calling the number will normally get you nowhere, but as you are on the list, you never know, they may accept you.

      Re: How to get it

I was told by a member of the Fibre Team that you must tick the little box on the fibre interest page otherwise they CANNOT contact you because of the Data Protection Act !

I too do not tick these boxes so I had to re-register and tick the box.

But its ok for Sky to contact you for anything else I suppose.

The tick box on the fibre page does not need to be ticked to get contacted that box is if you do NOT want Sky to contact you about further products

Yes it quite clearly states -
"Sky would like to use your information to contact you about other products and services that we think you'd like. For more information please see our Privacy Notice. By registering your interest you also agree to your details being used for this purpose unless you tick the box to opt-out".

It is in fact the opposite. You have to tick the box to opt out of being pestered by Sky. If you leave it unticked you are liable to get calls about everything they are trying to push. Another case of misinformation being passed on by Sky agents. The old 'left hand v right hand syndrome'.

Just checking your profile/account preference on mysky on how to be contacted... I do like how companies around the world try and and change your DNC preference without the consumer thinking about it
