To investigate a problem with the cheap router you send out I was slowed down to 128kb to investigate. It turned out to be the router but too you weeks to turn it back up to the proper speed.
I had to make constant calls several a day for over a week to be told yes I was only on 128 but only the next level of support could help with that, but you would not put me through to them due to the massive queus you had so would have to keep phoning.
I gave up calling eventually and after about 3 weeks you finally did something about it.
I also was charged the full amount for this time of a worthless connection.
Today I received your offer of extra support for 9.99removed. You support is a joke and you want me to pay you for this kind of service

I did not know that "Sky User - The unofficial support forum for everything Sky!" was offering "paid for support", I hope I'm going to get a cut.

Re: Poll: Your sky experience
I guess Jon123 came across this site and just needed somewhere to rant. He will not be the last person to think this site is connected with Sky despite the very clear text under the logo.

Maybe, when he has realised his blunder, he will come back and ask for some real advice, by the sound of it, he will need it.

Re: Poll: Your sky experience
After the first week which took me ages to get through to Tier 3 for ping problems ive not had any problems as not had to use Sky tech support....however another problem now makes me wonder why they have tech support for broadband as it is diabolical.

Re: Poll: Your sky experience
Mine switched over yesterday whilst I was at work.
Delighted, all very smooth.
I left work with a line that BT said could support no more than 512K, that rarely got more with the pathetic Home Hub and which got 1.6 meg max with a NetGear.
I return to switch on the sagem and find myself just under 4 meg. Brilliant.
Why didn't I dump BT years ago? their broadband is the chocolate tea pot of broadband services.

Re: Poll: Your sky experience
I have to say Sky have been fantastic though and though. Originally I was with BT, paying over the odds for line rental, calls and broadband. I switched to Sky in February 2009 and have had nothing short of a brilliant and faultless service. I was getting just under 4meg broadband with BT and get over 8meg on the same phone line with Sky. The switch-over was effortless and have never received anything less than a superb service. I have never lost connection and if I have ever had to contact Sky (normally via email), I tend to get a response the same day.
I have broadband, TV, phone and HD with Sky and the savings compared with BT are amazing. I was paying £27 a month for broadband alone with BT. For the same price, I'm getting everything with Sky. I've just received a letter to say that my phone line and broadband is being transferred to their own LLU network next week - Sky are at the forefront with technology and I truly cannot fault them. I'm very, very satisfied.
