    McAfee free anti-virus.

      McAfee free anti-virus.

      I'm on a 12 month migration from Be to Sky arrangement and know that when the year is almost up I have to watch what Sky intend to do with my prices.
      At moment I have included McAfee at no cost what happens after a year with that, can you that are excising customers advise me please?

      It is advertised as "a free trial" so I would assume that if you want to keep it you would have to pay for it.

      Frankly and apologies if this comes across as flippant but McAfee is hardly the best choice out there for AV with or without additional so called internet suite features that may be included, so personally, I'd drop it anyway. YMMV.

      Not intending to carry on with it when payment starts, it is catching things so appears to be doing the job ok for me and not messing with my PC operation, like Norton did when paying for it.
      Just wondering how Sky handle the payment when due such as do they give clear notification in advance so I can cancel prior to that payment being taken or do I need to be proactive and cancel whilst in the 12 month trial as you call it.

      call up before due date as it will usually then switch to monthly payment

      It's 3 per month and added to your direct debit. Deactivate it through your mysky account.
