Re: sky i love you, NOT

To be honest I migrated from Sky to O2 a few months ago and have had quite a few issues. Looking at things, if they don't improve, I'm might just be returning to Sky again!
I was in two minds at the time what to do as my Sky connection was fine, it was purely the fact they'd increased my fee by 100% that made me move, BUT now wondering if it was a good move or not.

I've had bad speeds with O2 quite a few times. I know they go by your router stats but, to me, the router will tell you what speed it gives which is the speed you're paying for, not the actual speed you're getting.
Last night when trying (in vain) to watch pop vids on YouTube all i got was seconds of vid, then buffer, seconds again, then buffer. I gave up half way through a track. When I tried again later, it was still buffering it.

Na- I'm one of those users who jumped ship and who is now kinda regretting it, so-and not being funny here- if you're thinking of migrating, can I suggest REALLY thinking again????? If your line is ok now, personally, I'd stay put.

Re: sky i love you, NOT

LoL, talking of breach of contract over the line speed, i remember back in the day (of dial up that is) that any company could only ever garentee a connection speed of 8Kbps over a standard PSTN line, if you phoned up because you thought it was too slow but it was connected over that then you didn't have a leg to stand on.

Any way getting back to the topic at hand i've been with BT, Tiscali (was customer service for them *shudder*), O2 and Freedom2Surf but Sky is the only company that i can actually say with my hand on my heart has "never" given me any grief and good luck to those that move on.
