It is not a matter of caring even less ... rather just a symptom of being a large multi-department, multi-location, multi-everything company. I once worked for a large UK bank in a tall tower block and they couldn't even communicate between floors any better than they could across the country!!

Generally treat CS like an insurance policy - you hope never to have to use it, because when you do it tends to be a bit painful. I'll bet BT's CS is off-shored, a sure-fire recipe for failure.

I take it you have never had the pleasure of talking to Joshua in Delhi then who works for BT - you have obviously lived a very sheltered life I have spoken to the BT Indian call centre a number of times and I'm still in therapy.

Yeah I had a problem with my BT broadband before I joined Sky, 2 hours on the phone to some far place, 20 or 30 computer and router resets still no broadband resulted in me putting the phone down on them in frustration! Luckily the broadband came back on 24hrs later!! Few weeks later I switched to Sky, not dealt with there CS yet!

Pray you don't have to then as I found them just as bad as BT. They treat their customers with complete distain and talk to them like dim wits. Complete and utter muppets.

Good points: Plug and play router with Hardcoded credentials.
Bad points: Plug and play router with Hardcoded credentials.

I'm only getting 2Mb on the 8Mb package which is disappointing.
I wouldn't recommend it to a friend based on that.
Other than that it seems stable and reliable.
