Horsham, West Sussex - Problems?
Anyone else having broadband problems in the Horsham, West Sussex area.
My router is establishling the normal down/up connection connection, attenuation and SNR but actual data throughput has fallen through the floor.
I'd normally get 6M, 900k, 15mS but this evening it has been all over the place.
Mostly it has been running at 2M, 300k, 125mS but it has also been down at 220k, 10k, 2S.
Tried two different routers and they both give identical results.
Tried direct connection to Test Socket with the same results.
Rang Sky who listened and passed me onto to 2nd Tier (Customer Solutions) but gave up after waiting an hour unanswered.
Sounds like an exchange problem to me - because all my connection stats are normal.
Cheers,
Nigel

Re: Horsham, West Sussex - Problems?
There is something screwy going on because when I use speedtest.net it uses servers in Yorkshire. When I try to select a different server it reckons servers in London and Kent near where I live are nearly 200 miles away, yet Leeds is only 1 mile away.
Sounds like they have serious problems are rerouting traffic.
Cheers,
Nigel
