I think what he was trying to imply is that you are on Sky Connect while LLU is available at your exchange.

      Post your router stats.
What exchange are you connected to?

      Re: 20cn / 21cn

God knows what he was was on about. You are on ADSL2+ which is only available to Sky LLU customers. 20CN and 21CN is BT's version of G.DMT and ADSL2+ respectively.

Maybe he thought you were on ADSL and wanted you to call Sky to configure your line to ADSL2+..

Nevertheless, did he look high or something?

Just another case of a BT fanboy trying to imply that BT was better than Sky. He was not very knowledgeable if he did not know that a sync of 12Mb meant your were on ADSL2+, Sky's equivalent of BT's 21CN.

      Re: 20cn / 21cn

Your stats look fine, but for you Line Attenuation you should be able to squeeze a little more from your connection.

The estimator on this forum give a connection speed of between 14mb to 16mb. You noise margins have very little room for improvement though.

If you have any extensions, for example, you would probably benefit from installing a filtered faceplate.

Also, just a small but important point, are you connecting your router with the short grey ADSL lead supplied by Sky and using the Master Socket?

P.S. Bourenmouth telephone exchange is 21CN enabled, so I guess the BTO Engineer was talking poop!

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms
