      Hi interesting pity it is showing no issues there has to be at least 1 somewhere no Company can provide perfection. But at last. I think the What is Sky Service Status Sky.com - Sky Help Centre>Contact Us could be interesting

      There isn't always a outage every hour of the day but usually a few a day granted, at this moment it does show the outage affecting the WEWxxx exchanges so it appears to be active.

      All I can say is about bl**dy time Sky. 2 years too late though, this should have been in position a looong time ago.
      Shame it's only any use to someone with service, what happens when your area suffers an outage? Maybe a number to call that will then tell you based on your account details if there is an issue in your locale?

      Hi I see Sky Broadband and Sky Talk,
      We’re aware of a temporary problem in the PADDINGTON, NORTH PADDINGTON and MARYLEBONE areas where some users might be experiencing difficulties using Sky Broadband and phone lines. Our engineers are working really hard to fix this and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
      Essential Maintenance
      We are currently undergoing some planned maintenance of the following services; Sky.com, Sky ID, Sky Player, Sky Songs and Mobile TV iPhone. We apologise for any inconvenience.
      Essential Maintenance.
      We are currently undergoing some planned maintenance to Sky email, during which period you will experience an alternative sign in journey for Sky email.
      It is a good idea to keep the Customer in the loop and yes
      Maybe a number to call that will then tell you based on your account details if there is an issue in your locale?
      A number to ring with updated telephone message`s that will definitely keep the calls and waiting times down also will allow the service Dept`s to run a lot smoother and not so many irate Customers.

      The status page is a great idea, but as already pointed out, a few years too late.

      It is such a good idea we have however stickied it.

      I guess sky are still updating this checker or perhaps it's in a beta phase, as even though it suggests there are no issues, there were quite a number of onnet and offnet faults throughout today.

      so, checking that... my area is fine


      if you ask me, i wouldn't say that getting the below on a 20Mb package is good!




      i get this all the time (since we upgraded from the 10MB package (Sig speeds) to the 20mb max one!) gona call 'em up!

      An exchange outtage that would be on the status page would mean your connection would be down, not slow.

      You're also on an UP TO 20mbps package, all fully dependant on line length & quality of the external line and also dependant on your own internal wiring.
