      Well that sucks, but I suspect I won't be moving providers for a while. But what a crappy thing for them to do.

      Well I didn't receive my letter until around 15th Aug and didn't move until the 31th and I had until 3pm the day before to opt out.

      Just read your letter VERY carefully and read the T&C's

      It will probably run again, you are on G.DMT which possibly suits your line better, DLM will put it back on ADSL2+. You might have to go through all the rigmarole again.

      They have just switched me like and hour ago. My Sky router has failed me so i'm using my linksys router,the big plus so far is that they have moved me to adsl2+ and I'm now syncing at 4.6mb for how long that last I dunno.

      New stats

      DSL Status: Up
      DSL Modulation Mode: ADSL2+
      DSL Path Mode: INTERLEAVED
      Downstream Rate: 4695 Kbps
      Upstream Rate: 797 Kbps
      Downstream Margin: 7 db
      Upstream Margin: 13 db
      Downstream Line Attenuation: 50
      Upstream Line Attenuation: 32

      The connection was off this morning, so I restarted the router and looked at the stats. I have never had that high a speed before the best I ever had was when I first joined which was 4.2mb.

      Stats

      Downstream Rate: 5350 Kbps
      Upstream Rate: 797 Kbps
      Downstream Margin: 7 db
