Nope LNADK has a problem with a specific DSLAM card, all ports on that card are off connection. Have you been told if this is issue? If so that ticket is supposed to be left open as it needs an engineer in the exchange to move you onto a new tie pair.

Yep but there you go, I would have expected all customers to be moved onto a properly working DSLAM card but who knows what is going on.

Re: albert dock (LNADK) exchange, london
yes i have now been told after six phone calls that my particular card has no outage and that it will take several days to fix. This after i told them that my neighbours sky broadband was working fine. Pathetic how it took over 2 weeks for them to notice the exact problem. All the supposed expert technicians kept saying was- we are sorry there is a problem at the exchange try again in a hour. Skys customer support is appalling.

how are you getting over 17mb download speeds from this exchange?
I've been told the max I can get is 3mb, but don't even reach 2mb
and I only live down the road from the exchange.
it's getting so frustrating.
anyone know when the exhchange is getting an upgrade?
as according to the searches I have done the last upgrade was in 2006

Re: albert dock (LNADK) exchange, london
Your speed on adsl depends on how close you are to the exchange. The exchange doesn't need an upgrade as it's last upgrade was probably to install LLU equipment.
Post your router stats and someone will advise how much speed you can get on the line under ideal circumstances. One thing to mention is that you must have the router connected to the line properly for it to work properly.
Can you post a set of stats from the router (noise margins, speeds and attenuation) and also explain your physical setup on the line, (how many sockets on the line, how many in use, are you in the main socket, is Sky tv box still connected to the telephone line, is every socket fitted with a filter BEFORE anything else connects to it)?
