      Useless

      About 4 months ago I applied for the black connect box and I was told that I was succesful but I never did receive it I phone them up about it three weeks ago and they said it would be in the post,if that's how they treat loyal customers I will be off to join BT sales are useless.

      Did they say why you hadn't received it?

      If they hadn't ordered it I can understand your frustration but if it has been dispatched and then went missing then that is out of Sky's control.

      You will need to upgrade to unlimited broadband if you are going to use the adaptor more than once or twice per month - your profile says bb Base.

      Lot's of early registrations were lost in June and early July so these customers need to go to www.sky.com/thankyou and re-register. Otherwise you should have got your adaptor ages ago. My mother-in-law got her's after 3 weeks.

      I have unlimited broadband but what happened to my phone call You might as well have a monkey at the end of the line they could not care less.

      The majority of the staff who work in the call centres do care.

      This issue was brought up a couple of months back on this forum as the suggestion then was to re-register. As Bubblegun has mentioned some registrations were sadly lost and this caused problems. The link above should still work.

      As for using it as an excuse to leave Sky, well for 21.95 you could get yourself the adaptor from here:

      On Demand Connector - connect your Sky+HD box and Wireless Router

      My dad was one of those that registered for the wireless connector, but initially didn't receive anything.

      8th july registered
      6th september re-registered
      26th september received letter saying it's on it's way

      OK, so he still hasn't received the connector yet, but from what i've read on other forums, once the letter has been sent it will definitely arrive at some point.

      I suspect they've been inundated with orders.
      I wouldn't worry until you've been waiting over 3 months as that's the time frame they're quoting.
