      Did you try setting the addresses manually? If you did and it made no difference, try changing the port you use in the router.

      There may be nothing wrong with your box, I would wait till the new EPG is sent down, it should not be much more than a couple of weeks.

      I tried the manual config which is giving me an OK on local connection but and intermittent OK on service connection. I've tried different ports on the router. Anything else I can try?

      I think it is more likely to be the router which is the problem, rather than the STB. You would not have a spare one you could try have you? You could also try reserving the STB's IP address in the router if you have not already done so, it should show as 192.168.0.100, if you have set that manually. Sometimes switching the box to Standby, then completely off for a few minutes. then on again will cure small glitches, you might want to try that.

      If you mean reserving the address, go into the router settings. I think it is under the Advanced tab on your router, look for LAN Setup. Open it and you will see a heading for Address Reservation, click Add and everything you have connected will be listed, choose your STB entry, you will also get the opportunity to name it, click Apply. While you are there you can reserve the address and name any other device you wish. When a device is plugged in it will always be given the same address.

      Are you able to borrow a router from friend?

      Also, what is the current firmware version on the router?

      There should be another firmware version showing. Perhaps 2.8SKY?
