      Anytime+ Issues

      Hello,

      I'm new, please be gentle!

I am having big problems in getting Sky Anytime+.

I have a sagemcom new wireless router connected via ethernet to my amstrad sky+ hd box. I am on sky bb unlimited.

I have enabled anytime and broadband connection on the sky+ hd box.

I have rebuilt my planner, reset the box, reset the router. But am still unable to get Anytime+ - the guys at sky don't have a clue.

Is anyone here able to save my sanity?

      Thanks in advance
      Chris

I think you have log in to your my sky account, and there should be an option to enable anytime+.
      Hope this helps.

On the network tab in settings, does it say ok for both local connection and service connection?

      On that it says-
      Fail
      Fail
      0.0.0.0
      Off

The ethernet cable works, as I have just connected my laptop to it and it works. Very odd.

Strange one. When you say you reset your sky box. Did you do the forced update? Where you turn your sky box off at the mains and keep the back up button on your sky box pressed, then turn it back on, until the software update screen appears.

      Re: Anytime+ Issues

Forgive me if this is too obvious, but I get this problem occasionally and I put it right using the old trick of unplugging the box for 5 minutes or so, reconnecting and after another 3 or 4 minutes try again. Anytime+ then works.

Also done this numerous times... Really really frustrating.
It wouldnt be anything to do with the router/firewall settings would it?

Is your sky box connected to the green port, on the router?
If it is, I'm completely at a loss as to what it could be.
