    Anytime problems with my Tenda wireless connector

      Thanks. Will keep trying as not on sky broadband and can't turn off the dhcp without disabling for all devices, which I presume would mean having to assign a static ip to each?
      think I'm going to have to send it back and shell out the 60 for the sky bridge.

      Sorry, I did not notice you were not with Sky. I think you have misunderstood. When I say turn off the DHCP server I meant on the Tenda, your main router will continue to give out addresses to devices directly connected to it and to those connected through the Tenda.

      There are much cheaper wireless bridges available than the Sky one, which is overpriced. Probably the cheapest of these is the Vonets, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vonets-VAP11.../dp/B0050AI804 Have a look at the reviews.

      Check that your router is not configured to automatically change wireless channel if it gets a poor signal.
      If it does then the Tenda expects you to be on channel X whereas your router has reconfigured itself to channel Y.
      Basically anytime that your routers wireless channel changes you have to reconfigure the Tenda.
