Have you checked the settings in the HD box to see if it if getting a local and service connection and an IP address? Also check if the router is showing the HD Box as an Attached Device.

Press Services on the Sky remote, press > to go to Settings, press 6 and you will see your network state.

On the router open the settings and go to the LAN settings, there you will see the Attached Devices. Unless you have named it your HD Box will probably be shown as Unknown.

Click this link http://192.168.0.1/ put admin for the user and sky for the password. If you do have a DG834GT, click the LAN settings link in the left column, if you have a V2 router click the Attached Devices link in the top menu.
