Confused about getting activated for 3D

I am getting a 3D television within the next few days so thought I would visit 'my sky' and activate 3D online.

It is so confusing, I don't know where to activate it. I seem to be going round in circles.

I have the full package with sports, movies & HD so shouldn't it already be activated for me?

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I don't need to change any packages as I already have everything except ESPN, foreign channels and the (blush) adult channels.

Have you tried using the Interactive section on your STB?

If you navigate to the 'Upgrade' section you can activate it there too.

Alternatively give Sky a friendly call. It shouldn't take too long and activation is normally completed within a few minutes.

Didn't think about looking online via the box.

      I shall do that now.

Re: Confused about getting activated for 3D

Hmmmm, tried using the interactive thingy and got just past confirming my identity then it couldn't progress any further.

I am wondering if this is because I really should have it activated as I have the full package?

My sky seemed to be confused also when I tried to manoeuvre through that.

I shall ring them a bit later when I have time to hang around on the phone just in case I am on hold for a long time.

Re: Confused about getting activated for 3D

I did it a few days ago, (on there web page) your right there is to much on one page and it gets confusing.
What I did was go through as much as I could then open their Chat window the person on the end helped me though it.
Let me just say though if you dont subscribe to sports and movies you might be a bit disappointed.

Re: Confused about getting activated for 3D

It wouldn't let me do it online or via interactive.

I rang them and my account was set up incorrectly for some unknown reason, so that was rectified and it is now live.

I do subscribe to sports and movies.

I also have a motorised system so can access other 3D channels.

      Not many around though.
