What's The Best 3D Films/Programes
Hi All
Just like to know what everyone's favourite/best films or shows where in 3D?
What's good to watch on the Sky 3D channel?
And what's the best 3D Blu Ray film you have watched at home?
Thanks

I haven't quite got the 3d bug yet. Sport I find poor, films(avatar) was good. The best stuff though are to look out for concerts on the sky 3d channel. As this are fixed point set ups, the 3d looks stunning. Look out for the princes trust concert, looks amazing in 3d, a real wow factor.

Having seen Thor 3D in the Cinema, I can definitely say that it should be avoided.
Avatar 3D is finally available to purchase, but it is expensive.

Scubbie I have also seen Thor in 3D and agree with you. I was given Avatar by a friend to watch and it is really good even better 3D than the cinema I would say.
Reddwarf I have only seen the Black eyed peas concert in 3D and that was good I'll have look out to see if the Princes Trust concert is repeated.
Thanks

Tough one. I actually thought that a lot of the Eurosport 3d coverage of the games was very good.
Bluray wise any Pixar is worth a watch as are the imax shorts. The hubble one in particular springs to mind.
2d-3d conversions usually look pretty poo. Clash of the titans et al. I wouldn't waste my money.
Horror movies are fun if you like pop out effects. I enjoyed final destination.
Found a German bluray rip of the running man in 3d that's pretty interesting.

Sport in 3D is strange, it doesn't look 'right' somehow. Best movie watched in 3D so far has to be Hugo, an amazing film.

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs is decent but a Kids film. If you can find the black eyed peas 3D concert that's pretty good too.
I like watching tennis in 3D but watching football on the 3D channel gives me a headache
