Re: Anyone have a 3D TV?

I'm not suggesting that it is related, but some people experience Epileptic Seizures from strobe lighting. Someone I know goes into a semi-trance from watching her LCD computer screen.

Other environmental aspects can contribute towards problems with a 3D TV. These include poor lighting, lighting in the wrong place (i.e. a bright window behind the TV).

Also some people have sight issues which they may or may not be aware of. These issues may or may not need corrective glasses.

These are just a few things which I am aware of.

      Because we do ?

If you don't, you're lucky. Personally, I'd rather watch a good HD picture. 3D is only half the horizontal definition, so it's hardly 'full HD'

Re: Anyone have a 3D TV?

I was very sceptical about 3D, until I started watching it. I was buying a big new telly, and 3D was something that was there, so I tried it. It's awsome on a 59" Samsung plasma.

No headaches, no problems at all.

Re: Anyone have a 3D TV?

Can't we invent some sort of rule where the forum mods get free samples of things to try, like 59" 3D TVs?

P.S. Make sure you have the HT to go with it.

Re: Anyone have a 3D TV?

Just bought myself a new Panasonic Smart 47" LED TV today with 4 pairs of glasses and 5yr warranty included, as well as an a new amp/receiver. absolutely blown away by the picture qaulity even over my 40" Sony Full HD TV. Also loving the 3D, just this min taking a break from Avengers Assemble.

One thing tho is I didn't realise that you need to have the full Sky TV package to have the 3D channel and since a few days ago I decided to have sky sports removed they can even let me have it for 4 weeks till SS gets removed

the lg 47 inch from amazon is led and is 3d to and also comes with 4 pairs of glasses which is not bad for under 700 though if you want it connected to lgs smart features you need a dongle.

Re: Anyone have a 3D TV?

I have one already, but there's barely anything worth watching in 3D even now after all this time.

I dont really feel like 3D is kicking off as well as it was supposed to... just my opinion.
