I am not sure if this is a bug in the new firmware or the utility used to extract the information. James will no doubt let us know.

This is the same sort of problem I've been having since the upgrade to my V1 router. I, too, never used to get these spontaneous re-initializations. Similarly I often get multiple requests to NTP for time. In my case re-booting of the router does'nt help with the problem.

Ditto! Although for me it is really noticeable and it is a problem which I would like to see resolved.

I have kept a record of my Sky BB connection since I joined in October 2006 and have never had any problems until this firmware change. As well as the above my download speed has decreased a little and is now more erratic and my u/l speed has decreased. See my Sky Broadband connection

Re: Feedback for Sky - New FW for V1 Router

My speed has dropped off from aprox 7500 kb/s to around 2700 kb/s after FW update. Constant connection drop offs have not been solved either. If this continues much longer it will bbe by by sky.

^^^^^^^^Post your router stats - it may not be anything sky has control over ie your internal wiring.

Re: Feedback for Sky - New FW for V1 Router

Coincidences do happen, something may have gone wrong with your wiring at the same time as the update. Sky seem to be good at replacing routers which do not perform after the update, so if your stats are OK, phone them and they will probably send you a replacement.
