    Help !!

    This is a discussion on Help !! within the Router stats forums, part of the Broadband Technical Help category; Call again and nicely ask to speak with CST . Hopefully tey can resolve it....

      Sorry, I never doubted that you are nice. I always try to emphasis the point as I know it can get really frustrating. CST used to be known as "Tier 2" and "Tier 3" a few years back and generally are better trained than the first level of support.

      :-) i think i have already spoke too the cst department but i will try they have started DLM so i better wait the 10 days i suppose? Just been on the xbox ....what a laggy experience lol they wont set my response times to 8ms untill after dlm but atleast my connection has stayed stable for now :-)

      No problem then if you have spoken with them.

      There are gamer profiles but they can be unstable in some cases. I would be inclined to allow your line to prove itself to be safe once more before talking about the gamer profile.

      Maybe it is time you stopped being Mr Niceguy and tell them to fix your speed or you are cancelling. Even with your increased attenuation, you should be able to get 6Mb.

      Now you need to call them to put up your upload speed.

      If you are a keen gamer and want a better ping you will have to ask for your Delay to be reduced, but be aware it is likely to cost you a bit of speed. If you ask for a gamer Profile they may put you on 4608/864, which is probably the nearest Profile your speed will support.

      i was on a gaming profile this time last week with no problems ?( had been for months ) they have told me i need to wait 10days now so just have to put up with it...dunno why this has happend really
