Re: Line Attenuation & Noise Margin
No problem.
In this case I would consider getting the ADSL Extension Lead that was suggested earlier. In them mean time consider leaving the router in this socket for a couple of days if possible.

Re: Line Attenuation & Noise Margin
Are you in a flat or something
your line is far shorter than mine so should sync faster
its also worth replacing the filter with an nte2000 on the master
this can make a large difference as the sky filters are cheap
Here's my line for a comparison
and im actually forcing a slower sync for 0 crc errors

My line is capable of 22.8 mbit at a 7db margin
so yours should do 24 with ease unless your in a flat ofc

Re: Line Attenuation & Noise Margin
The Filtered faceplate replaces your current faceplate.
If you have any hard-wired extension on the back of your existing faceplate, then you should also look for an IDC tool.
Otherwise it is just a straight swap from one faceplate to the next.

Re: Line Attenuation & Noise Margin
I dont have any hard-wired extension on the back of my existing faceplate so will be a case of just one faceplate off and the new face plate screwed on
