how exactly do you unlock this modem...I have followed the instructions in the guide several times, how long should the reset button be held down for...can someone please post thier own version of how they managed to unlock their Echolife HG612 modem?

Those firmware links don't work any more either. They just lead to a Google Drive promo!

I have just downloaded the zip called , hg612_unlocked_sp10_firmware
it has 2 folders in there , one called "original_sp10_firmware" and one called "unlocked_sp10_firmware"
I take it i flash with the "unlocked_sp10_firmware" one and if i need to revert back to normal state i flash "original_sp10_firmware"?
