Sky router stats (speed, noise, attenuation) explained

You will not do much better. Soon your line will be moved to ADSL2+, when you might get a slight increase in speed. Keep your eye on your stats.

Thanks to a very nice man from sky broadband (technical) my speed has been increased. He was very patient and could not help enough to ensure I have the fastest speed possible on my line....

Having problems with my broadband speed. Sky have been most unhelpful. I am paying £17 a month, and only getting on average 407 kbits/s. My 3g connection on my phone is faster. Help, please!.

nothing you can do, you're on Connect which is throttled to hell!! quickest fix is to leave to another ISP...

Right, I have just connected to the test socket and also removed the ring wire. That seems to have improved my SNR to around 15dB from 9-10dB before. If I understood correctly, that should have also improved my dl speed, but it has not really budged at all. My connection details look like this:

Again, if I understood correctly, I should get a better download speed considering my snr and attenuation, right ?
