Sky Mid connection Speed dropped

Hi All

Can anyone offer me any advice on the following

had bt 1mb for years switched to sky mid no problems on 8th december with stats as below

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 5760 kbps 416 kbps
Line Attenuation 50.0 db 31.5 db
Noise Margin 6.6 db 14.0 db

apoart from having to reboot reouter occasionally when speed dropped no other problems

apart from today stats are now as below reboot still shows the same slow speed

Connection Speed 1856 kbps 416 kbps
Line Attenuation 59.0 db 31.5 db
Noise Margin 7.9 db 13.0 db

any comments appreciated

A huge leap in attenuation like that points to a line fault - either that or (possible not likely) BT have changed the routing of your line.

What are your stats using the test socket which you'll find behind the faceplate of your mater socket (assuming you have an NTE5)?
