No chance, they need to learn what CS is first

      Re: Recommend yes/no

yes, definately recommend - have already signed my sister up aswell.

The thing anyone who is interested should remember is that bad news travels faster than good news, people are more likely to complain about something bad, than to compliment when it's good.

You'll always get to hear the horror stories, but for every horror story there's got to be at least 1 success - there's no way they would be able to maintain a business if their success rate was anywhere near as low as 50%!

As the poll shows though - 90% say yes !

Since my previous post the service has fallen to intolerable levels, and customer service is non-existent. A firm no to reccomending them.

If you are on Connect, this is unlikely to be Sky's fault, apart from the dire CS that is. Have you followed all the advice given in the forum? If you are here often you will know that the success rate for fixing problems is very high. Even experienced BB users forget little things, like making sure everything, including the Sky Digibox has filters fitted and keeping extensions to a minimum, etc.

      Re: Recommend yes/no

      Well I voted No!

Although my internet seems to be working now at around 2mb (Not really sky's fault it's BT not maintaining their lines.) I had hell trying to sort out my broadband as I had constant disconnections from day one!

That may not be sky's fault but their tech support is worse than NTL's and boy that took some beating!

If you run in to any problems then you will regreat it, if your lucky and it works from day one then you will be happy!

Just hope you never need call broadband support!

Yup, would recommend and have done several times to mates in work. Anyone getting several time their old speed at over half the price doesnt have anything to grumble about! ( unless of course your last name is Meldrew )
