Zub was approx 57 on our server the other night, had to laugh as he nicked a tank off the enemy and someone got a little upset
thats because if you pay by the real rules that's not alowed - on my server i ban for that without thinking twice.

i get pings around 25ms - the day sky put me onto interleaving s the day i will be leaving - even if i do have to fork out 50 quid to end the BB contract

      Re: Pings

I was at 20-30ms until the end of March until the powers that be decided that I should be interleaved. I was syncing at 8128 with no disconnections. I'm at 30-40ms now.

I mean, what's the point? Sky can really make some stupid decisions.

try being at 60-80 then theres reason to complain 20-40 is basically normal ping..

      Re: Pings

well my view is ... at 5 a month if they do that to me - the contract will be paid off there and then and cable put back in - or another ADSL provider

      Re: Pings

It's between 40-50, but it does not bother me as I don't play online games.

      Re: Pings

I'm on mid, and on interleave and pings on the servers for when i play Far Cry are 70-80ish. I do use wireless so I know that obviously will affect my pings a little.

Does this mean that I am stuck on interleave permanently now, or can this be altered to fast if I request it?

      Re: Pings

Isn't this poll meaningless unless we all ping the same address?
I would suggest using the ping (latency) stats from speedtest.net (london server)

      Re: Pings

Pinging 85.236.100.42, I get a low of 80 m/s, high of 90 m/s, average of 82 m/s. Christ how I wished I'd found this forum before I'd signed up. My 512kb Orange account provided a more stable gaming platform than this absolute joke of an ISP

Nice opening post to make though eh? Oh, and hello everybody
