      yes AMD has desktop both budget and top range, mobile and server CPU's just like Intel, AMD also owns ATI the graphics card company but Intel also makes various other stuff

      Doesnt Intel now work on Mac's aswell..?

      yes Intel do now make CPU's for Mac's.

      look at it a bit like what gets more viewers Coronation street or Eastenders
