well i was with freeserve untill they became wanadoo and had no problems i had 2 days of downtime in 3 years then orange took over id get random disconnects when they changed me over to 5mbit as i found out they seemed to bork me router well them i cant realy blame them it may of been coincidental but it was bricked for a few hours till i did a hard reset and reflashed the firmware then it went came back to working for an hour with no problems then the adsl light flashed for 5 hours i phoned them they said there was nothing wrong i rebooted me router nothing i did all there handbook questions they said they would do a line test phone back in 24 hours fobb off.
i heard this one before a friend of me mother hasnt had internet from orange in 3 months and this is how his started at first.
but this turned out i found the date it was the day they upgraded me to 5mbit.....
but fortunatly it came back on and for a good while a few little issues here and there. but my friends adsl miles away in enfield north london would play up disconnect untill he deleted some cookies and restart his pc i was wondering if they was controlling how much people use there service with "random faults"
so tbh appart from the fact they changed me to there llu service the change to sky has been easy so far but i still havent had mine activated but i got a router so thats a good sign

Zen great service
I'm migrating to save £25 a month and just having one bill isn't such a bad idea eitherRay
Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
If you would like to know the straight line distance to your exchange then
Would you like an idea of the possible speeds you will get with the Max Package then click here or for the Connect Package then click here

I am currently migrating from Orange. Since Orange took over the service has become slow and I receive lots of spam on their web-mail service. Also the pricing is too high. I will save £13 a month on SkyBB for a (hopefully) faster service and unlimited usage (at the moment I am paying £23 for a slow 2Gb usage cap).
