I migrated from BT Yahoo as they were just to expensive. I can't believe that they still want to charge a penny short of 30 for a monthly service. They seem to think people will be happy paying for their added extras. I wasn't hence the move to Sky.

I was paying 24.99 a month for AOL, had been planning my escape from them for ages, Sky's offer was too good to refuse.

I selected "not migrated yet" as it is pretty pointless signingup for Sky Connect up to 8mb for 17 a month, when I'm already on an up to 8mb Wireless and Talk from Wanadoo/Orange for 17.99 a month.

Another ex-Freedom Surfer here. They were OK, but 15 a month dearer than my current subs, and half the bandwidth.

Oh, and their router would have cost 80

      Re: Migrated from:

Came over from Newnet early January after 12 months of superb service due to the price increases mainly. Saving a tidy 143 a year if prices stay as is and getting almost double the speed.

      Re: Migrated from:

Came from Pipex. Very reliable but at 23.44 for 1 Meg, they should've been.

They kept charging me after i migrated as well, which judging by comments on the Pipex forums, isn't unusual.

      Re: Migrated from:

Came from AOL 2mb for 19 a month to SKY 8mb for 17 a month.

2 quid a month cheaper and 4 times as fast
