      Was very happy with Zen and just as happy with SkyBB with twice the speed and saving 25 a month to boot

      Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      What is the point of this forum then if you cant be honest about it and let others know what they are getting themselves into. I have every right to let others know about the problems with sky.

      You have made my post now as if there are no problems which there is, and i have a right to comment on them as a paying customer to sky who do little to sort problems out.

      Re: Sky Broadband - better than your old ISP?

      Better speed, 1/3 of the cost for 8 times as much monthly data transfer allowance, but worse C.S.

      Overall, I vote better.

      Re: Sky Broadband - better than your old ISP?

      Not Happy..... BIG mistake moving from {upto 8mb BT} to {upto 16mb Sky}
      Been 1 month now.

      Pros
      Much cheaper, yeah!
      Getting better connection speeds (11mb)
      Getting faster downloads, yeah!
      Cons
      I would compare the surfing to that of my 56k AOL connection 9 years ago, at peak times anyway...
      Cant even watch streaming vids from u tube etc, impossible... 5 times out of 10, keeps underbuffering..... so much so its unwatchable.
      Speed tests up and down by like 10mb.

      One of my fav parts of net too, it streaming video so its been a big mistake for me.

      Much Cheapness
