      Have you ever tried this...

For those who like cream liquors but fancy a change from Bailey's or Sheridan's. Only place I have found where you can get it in the UK is the Whiskey Exchange.

Nothing until dinner then a glass or two of white wine with the meal.

      Re: Seasonal Beverages

For a change this year there will be no Bucks Fizz & Eggs Benedict for breakfast, a lazy morning is planned.

First drinks will be a nice chilled glass of Prosecco or two around lunchtime. The roast will be served at about 5pm with a bottle of a great little white from a Kent vineyard followed by a glass or two of a really good desert wine we bought whilst in Santorini earlier this year, have been saving them for Christmas. Evening tipple will be a couple of glasses of port. If that's not enough I may break out the Sangsters Jamaican banana rum.

I will then fall into a stupor, go to sleep and start the whole process all over again on boxing day, SWMBO on the other hand will be off to the sales!

      Re: Seasonal Beverages

      Hello All
I must admit that I do love a nice Cold Guinness with a few good friends around
1.30pm before the first course of Lunch starts around 3pm.
I have noticed a few bottles of Prosecco tucked away with the Brut Cava so we
will see what I am instructed to Chill by SWMBO.............

I would have thought that as Most stores appear to have Sales 12 months a year
It would be difficult to discount an already discounted item but then I am Male !!!
I find that between SWMBO / Daughter & Daughter-in Law My Services as Chauffeur
      are all that is Required.
I am so Glad I am the ' Head of the Household.' ...........
      Just a Thought

      Re: Seasonal Beverages

There are sales and then there are Boxing day sales...

For example, Burberry, specifically thier Handbags, the likes of which already take up a fair amount of storage, tend to have major deals on Boxing day.... nuff said?

Oh, did I not mention that, morning is handbags, footwear is afternoon...

When we next move house we'll need a seperate van for the footwear and handbags.
