working well after 2 month wait

I'm still here. Finally got connected nearly 2 weeks ago, after starting migration to Zen. Luckily Zen managed to stop migration just in time and refunded my payment for th month. If you are luckily enough to get connected it seems good. Router synching at 12800 download and acieveing download at nearly 11000.Exchange Highway Coventry

      Thumbs down

After 2 months of trying to get the MAX packet I had someone at sky TS3 level technician advise me that my line can only run at 100% above 10db at 5.5mb speed not 14.5mb as Sky stated when I first enquired in September, wish I stayed with Freedom to Surf, and also my phone bill would have been half of what it is if I stayed with F2S.

      Re: Sky Connection

For me everything is going very well.

APART from the fact that I got a faulty router. Called SKY up and they said that they will get a Tier 3 technician to call me within 3-5 days.

Well they may call me and say that after 5-10 mins my router is now working but after few days i will definitely go through that hassle again. They will ask me the same question again and again.

      Re: Sky Connection

Happy? I'm over the moon! At long last an ISP to be proud of! I'll leave the proof in my signature. After a year with Pipex Homecall Sky, so far - it's only been three months and counting, is heaven. Homecall had a rumoured FUP of 3GB per month during peak time (5-11pm, 7 days a week). In these peak times I was lucky to get 300Kb/s. With Sky I'm getting between 13 and 14Mb/s 24/7 and goodness knows what the FUP is but it's better than 3GB for sure!

      Re: Sky Connection

Sky Broadband bought Easynet so as to use their network for Sky Broadband.

      Hence the Easynet Identification.

      Re: Sky Connection

@anomie - the fup on max is rumoured to be 250gb/month, but I dont think its been confirmed officially. As far as I am aware no one has been penalised for exceeding it.
