Do Sky really care about their customers ??

Looking at this forum I would think not.

It would be nice to think they do though

^^ In truth the same could be said about any big company, also this forum by its design is here to help people with problems which would account for the amount of bad stories you get (you would be hard pressed to find a site where every one signed up to leave all nice comments)

      Re: What would you prefer?

If it was not for forum's like this, there would be a lot more people without any hair or the UK broadband experience would be dire. It is just a shame that large company's bite the hand that feeds them ie the customers. All it needs is to tear up the stupid scripts that they are forced to feed their customers and treat their customers like human beings.

Rich, I'm a little perplexed by that, why would it not matter to you if your router dropped its connection all the time ?

Ps - in case its not obvious - stability for me too - I was gutted the other day when playin 2142 with a hot gunship pilot and well on the way to a gold medal when - you guessed it "your connection to the master server has been lost" not skys fault or my connection in this case but you get the picture, and before someone else says it - I know, practice

      Re: What would you prefer?

^^ nope, my router does not that much,
only reboots anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks, and i know this is because of the set up i have (and cant get motivated enough to fix), that why it would not matter that much

(what may get me is if they picked up on my line when its having a bad day and capped me to a much lower speed )
