Re: Phorm and Sky Broadband - Would you stay or go?

I too am another person that would leave if any sort of selling my browsing habits were to happen.

I think I would go as far to say that if there was no way of having the net without having this in place I would very happily give up the internet

My privacy is mine, and unless there was a recent change in the law (wouldnt put it past labour to make a quick £ or two) it is up to me whether my info and privacy is passed on, not to some company that are supplying me with a service.

Ok so 129 votes is only a very small minute % of sky's userbase, but I am sure that if other users were educated as to what Phorm is and does (and what is given to them about you) the figures above would be identical (if not more to sky's detriment) on a userbase wide scale.

81.4% is a large chunk of users to lose, simply to gain a small % of targetted advertising which was done by invading those users privacy. I reckon the UK is becoming the next USSR are we sure Brown is not really Stalin in disguise?
