      Text Type.

How annoying do you find reading posts where the users cannot be bothered to utilise the full size keyboard in front of them and instead uses mobile phone text?
Why do these people not use a free spell checker ?
      A good example below.

It is annoying to read but you just get used to it after a while.

      Re: Text Type.

I don't have a mobile phone so I'm not familiar with phone type text.

If a post is hard to read I end up missing it out.

If you need advice or help with something to do with Sky, I think it would be far better to make your post as easy as possible to read.

Please remember that some people may have genuine writing problems for one reason or another, dyslexia being one, we at Skyuser welcome people with varying literacy skills and would expect them to be treated equally.

If the person who i quoted suffers from any of the above i apologise, i was only using it as an example of how lazy people have become.
I struggle with my spelling and if it i didn't use IeSpell i would not post at all,its the people that can spell and cannot be bothered that annoy me.

      Re: Text Type.

My comments was aimed at phone type text, not literacy skills.

Apologies if I have offended anyone.

The odd spelling or grammatical error is more than acceptable, I'm more guilty than most, but the annoyance that is "txt speak" has to be stamped out.
AOL has a lot to blame for, I find it vexing attempting to read an incomprehensible jumble of letters which just encourages me to press the back button.
