      Happy New Year people...

      Does anyone know about these Newsgroups? Am looking into it at the moment as utorrent speeds are just dreadful. I hear that should be able to get top speeds all the time.

      What is a decent site and what sort of software do I need. Is there any links on this forum?

      Try : Newsgroups: Giganews USENET News Servers
      Its fairly cheap! You can use a client such as;
      Newsbin : NewsBin NNTP Usenet Binary Newsgroup Robot

      However judging that your on connect, Its very unlikey you will be able to get speeds alot faster than your uTorrent speeds!

      www.astraweb.com is a very nice PAYG newserver
      I use NewsLeecher as the client (used to use Grabit)

      Depends is you are a regular monthly downloader or more of an ad-hoc downloader really.

      Thanks guys, and the quality of the stuff to download, is as good as what find on bittorrent sites?
      What sort of speeds are you getting on Max?
      So with me still being on Connect I will have same old problem as I do with Utorrent.

      Re: Peer 2 Peer Problems

      At last I am supposed to be upgraded onto the Max package now, is there anyway of me finding out if this has actually gone through?

      I've signed up to newshosting using altbinz as the reader, and my speeds currently are around 25kB/s I thought that these newsgroups were supposed to be running at least 600 kB/s

      Is there something I have done wrong or need to do?
