I thought that was about the maximum you can get on a 37mb connection. There's 8 megabits in a megabyte so 8 x 4.4= 35.2 which is not far off your speed.

I use vuze mainly because I can stream straight to my PS3 and it converts the video, so less hassle. I will give utorrent a go and see if I like it. Cheers.

There are quite a few dedicated units now that will connect to your TV and stream HD video from a NAS drive or from the Internet for you to watch on your TV.

They come with their own remotes and the functionality varies hugely between them.

It appears that most will stream .mkv HD files without any requirement for trans-coding, like what is required for the PS3 and Xbox.

From what I've seen, prices vary from around 50 to over 250.

With built in support for 5.1 or 7.1 Surround Sound and most supporting subscription services such as LoveFilm and Netflix. Support for the various TV players is also available, as well as YouTube and many more.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms
