Heads up - µTorrent and BitTorrent vulnerabilities

Apparently there is a "zero day" vulnerability that has existed in these for two years (hardly zero day then) which can allow malware to be loaded through a poisoned torrent. The new µTorrent release (v1.8) has fixed this but I'm not sure about BitTorrent - BitTorrent Mainline version six and beyond are the affected versions as they use µTorrent source code.

So, if you use µTorrent I highly recommend updating if you're still on v1.7 or even earlier versions.
