Smile Sky Deal for Existing Customers....

At present I have Sky plus with sky world, sky talk anytime with line rental, sky broadband base and sky multi-room and wanted to upgrade my package to HD, but to offset the cost by taking away sky sports. I phoned sky and was given the following deal to celebrate 20 years of sky, but to stay on my curreny package...

      Sky HD Plus 49.00
      Installation 30.00
Sky HD Pack one month free
Sky HD Pack 9.75 less 20% for six months 7.80
Sky World 46.00 less 20% for six months 36.80
      Sky multi-room 9.75 less 20% for six months 7.80
Sky line rental 10.00 free of charge for three months
      Sky anytime 5.00 no discount
      Sky broadband free

So my monthly costs has been reduced from 70.75, to 64.40 but includes HD... How brill is that for something that I never asked for. Thanks Sky and congratulations for twenty years and Im looking forward to the next twenty years...

People may complain about sky but no one can come close to what they can offer in terms of technology and viewing...

It has to be said, that Sky, first with Sky+ and now with HD, lead the way in future viewing techhnology, albeit at a price - However, like anything good, it's addictive - and thats how they make their money - Fair play, I might wince at my monthly subs, but at least I never complain that there is "nothing on"

HD delivers what can olny be described as stunning video, and (often missed) audio quality - being a bit of a gadget and quality "freak" (my wife's words - not mine) I actually appreciate this!

Looking forward to the next 20 years myself, not least the fact that I will have paid off my mortgage!!

I tend to agree. In our house we have 2 HD boxes and they get hammered all the time. Both planners have plenty of programmes on ready to keep / watch in future, and with the BB as well, I have to say at 87 a month our whole family get complete value for money.

Yes its a lot of money, but its only the same as going out a couple of times a month with 4 of us. (5 if you count the dog, although he struggles pressing record)
