read here, just passing it on:

According to Sky, they will be releasing details on the new subscription offers for January. It’s believed that standard Sky will remain free with an installation charge, whilst Sky+ will be available for 75 with free installation and Sky+HD for 49 with free installation. Deals will also be available to existing customers upgrading, although installation charges may still apply.

The 49 rumour has been around for ages. We should know very soon indeed. Also I have removed the link, as it is an affiliate site, and against our rules.

No worries - I copied the relevant paragraph for you.

We have had notification of new offers, but no details as yet. If like last time, we were asked to remove them for two days. So I guess that's why we ain't got any confirmation yet.

      Re: rumour about 2009 offers

      well, update:
The deals from Sky TV in January aren’t quite as good as previously mentioned, but still very good if you are considering signing up for a subscription. They seem to be concentrating more on the Sky Broadband and Sky Talk offerings in January, but the price on Sky TV products is still good.

      Sky Digibox FREE (30 installation)
      Sky+ Digibox 99 (FREE installation)
      Sky+HD Digibox 99 (30 installation)

The M&S 50 voucher deal has ended, but in replacement, Sky are offering the following when you buy any Sky TV package:

Sky Talk Line rental for 3 months
Free Sky Talk Freetime (evenings and weekend calls)
Free Sky Broadband Max for 3 months (unlimited broadband up to 16mb download speed)

Don’t forget the 15 credit against your first bill when ordering online.

      Re: rumour about 2009 offers

as i've mentioned before, my opinion is that the HD sub will be removed for Multiroon boxes, and reduced to 5pm if you don't have movies/sport.

Of course, just my opinion and based on no information what so ever.
