i think sky will drop the hd subscripton if you have sky world(possibly plus talk/bb)
and half it if you have no premium channels

I am looking for a multiroom box are there any credible sources about when it will be made available as I have just got all the movie channels switched on.

      Re: rumour about 2009 offers

I heard something big is supposed to be happening January/February. An engineer said that in the north East alone 15 new engineers have been hired, but they are un-aware of what this 'thing' is? Anyone have any insight?

      Re: rumour about 2009 offers

Its possibly the £49 HD box, as this has been mentioned quite a few times, from numerous sources. However no one from Sky will deny or confirm this rumour.

I think Sky are going to make a move to corner the HD market, before the free one gains any momentum.

Why? Freeview is doing fine these days and i no sign of trouble, why do you think freesat will fold?
